Quality of life following simple tooth extraction (Non — Surgical): A prospective longitudinal study

The objective of this study was to evaluate quality life among adult patients after non surgical extraction teeth under local anaesthesia. present conducted 80 who were above 18 years and wanted one or two teeth. Following extraction, given a questionnaire (in English, Hindi, Punjabi) with questions about post-operative life. Patients contacted by phone inquire their status on days 2, 4, 7. Out patients, 95%, the continue do social activities day 2after extraction. 34 felt pain swelling, 10 change in physical appearance. 12 did not go work, but out these females housewives working already. 14patients said that affected work performance. Only 6 subjects took help somebody 19 difficulty swallowing, 2 reported taste perception changes, 26 changes mouth opening, five had interrupted meals ,10% ability speak problem falling asleep 2. 100% no issues It is concluded patient's simple particularly first second post-extraction days. most domains "Pain swelling felt" "Change opening". After negatively for before improving throughout duration follow-up period. Therefore, patient should be informed how can affect immediately following surgery it might cause them regular routine.
